Misfits, redux

I decided to give Misfits another chance, now that it's on terrestrial C4 - which makes the logistics easier, and implies that somebody thinks it's good - and someone in comments elsewhere said they deconstruct the stereotypes by the end of the series, and it's not me that's going to be hurt, so: episode 1. As well as what's already been said about the kids, we have a probation worker (referred to by the kids as "the probation worker" as though nobody told them to call him Mr. Whatever), who just happens to be a big black guy, turning into a rage monster. Yeah, that's not stereotyped at all :(

That seriously is one terrible damn super power. It's the worst 'I can never touch anyone' power I recall seeing and I've been around a bit and seen some bad ones. (And golly if they don't often hang them on women characters to fuck up their romantic possibilities.) :( :( :( :(
If you keep watching I hope it does get better and smart quick too.
