Two things happening this Saturday
1. March for the Alternative
I feel somewhat guilty that I'm not planning to go to this, but I decided a few years ago that my marching days are over. I could probably walk the distance, but these things combine the worst aspects of running, walking, and standing still, and if I sat on the ground, somebody would have to pick me up again.
There are alternative arrangements for disabled people to participate, but it's still an early start and a Whole Day Expedition and I'd expect to be travelling home on my own while knackered; anybody organising transport from $MY_TOWN will be going to the CAB march, ne?
2. WWF's Earth Hour
This one is easy. Though this hypocrite inclines me to think it's not actually useful. WTF, WWF? If Cameron agrees with you, you must be doing something wrong.
